We are Lithuanian Youth Association of Australia or ALJS, a volunteer-led network for people aged 16-35. We run cultural and community projects, language initiatives, and events that connect young Lithuanians across Australia and with our global diaspora. ALJS, established in the 1970s, is a member organisation of the World Lithuanian Youth Association (PLJS) and actively contributes to the global Lithuanian youth network. Our mission is to preserve and strengthen Lithuanian identity, foster an active and creative youth community in Australia, encourage civic engagement, and build connections with peers in Lithuania and around the world.
